Sri Vijaya Puram, Apr 27: It is hereby brought to the notice of the general public that two Automated Tsunami Sirens installed at Namunaghar and Shoal Bay will be blown as and when required on 29th and 30th April, 2026 between 09:30 AM and 04:00 PM for testing purposes.
The public is requested not to panic when the sirens are sounded on the above date and locations and to remain calm during the testing period. This is only a routine test to ensure the proper functioning of the sirens.
