
Sri Vijaya Puram, Apr 21: Andaman Law College students reached to national level dialogue on Viksit Bharat-2047 titled as Budget Quest-2026, held at Bhubaneswar (Odissa) recently. They are Ms. Komalpreet Kaur, Ms. P. Aliya Majeed, Ms.Razia Banu IV-Year, along with Ms. B. Purni of First Year. The girls represented Andaman & Nicobar Islands in the national level dialogue and discussions for two-days. This is an initiative of MyBharat under the aegis Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. MyBharat screened the youth by way of conducting an online national wide quiz and conducted an essay writing competition as well to screen top 10. These four girls of ALC captured the top four positions in the ten selected. Komal, Razia and Purni offered their views on ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam’, ‘Women empowerment’ and ‘Inclusive development’. Whereas Aliya Majeed offered critical suggestions regarding the issues faced by the Island farmers under the title “Viksit Krishi” and inclusive growth. After returning to Islands, the girls told that it is an enriching experience for them and they could able to contribute to the on-going debate on Viksit Bharat says, Principal, Andaman Law College Dr. P.V.N.Sarma in a press release. Students and teachers congratulated the girls on their achievement.
