Sri Vijaya Puram, Apr 06: The Jawahar Bal Manch, A & N Islands successfully organised a State-Level Group Dance Competition under the theme “Booster Programme for Backbenchers” on 03rd April 2026 at the premises of Congress Office, Port Blair.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from young talents across the islands, with a total of 15 groups showcasing their creativity, coordination, and cultural vibrancy. The event aimed to encourage hidden talents among students and provide a platform for backbenchers to express themselves through art and performance.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of ANTCC President Mr. Rangalal Halder, along with AICC Members, District Congress, Senior Party Leaders, representatives of Party Frontal Organisations, ANTCC Departments & Cells, SVPMC Councillors, and Party Workers.
After a series of impressive performances, the winners were announced as follows:
1st Prize: BNA Dance Group
2nd Prize: Silk Wings Dance Group
3rd Prize: ARYC Dance Group
The programme was meticulously organised and coordinated by Jawahar Bal Manch State Chairman Mrs. S. Sita Lakshmi along with her committee members, in collaboration with City Congress President Mr. Mohd Zubair.
The event concluded on a successful note, reflecting the commitment of Jawahar Bal Manch towards nurturing young talent and promoting inclusive participation in cultural activities.
