Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb. 4: With the objective of providing fast, reliable and hassle-free resolution of power-related issues, the Electricity Department has made fully operational a 24×7 Centralized Control Room (CCR) at Sri Vijaya Puram for the benefit of all electricity consumers and the general public across A & N Islands. The CCR serves as a single dedicated platform for the consumers and general public for reporting power outages, supply disruptions and other power related issues ensuring prompt and coordinated action.
Consumers and general public are encouraged to use the Toll-free number 1800-345-1111 to register their complaints any time, day or night 24X7 round the clock. Every complaint received at the CCR is officially recorded, continuously monitored, and attended to on a priority basis in a time-bound manner. In addition, the CCR provides information on scheduled power shutdowns, reasons for interruptions, expected restoration time and also responds to reports of unsafe electrical conditions or emergency situations.
The Electricity Department appeals to all consumers and general public to make this toll-free number their primary and preferred mode for redressal of all power-related issues and to avoid visiting site offices for lodging complaints.
