Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec. 24:The Department of Sports and Youth Affairs will be conducting ‘3×3 Open Basketball Championship for Men & Women’ on Dec. 30 at 4 pm at the Basketball Court, Netaji Stadium. Each team shall consist of not more than 4 players (3 players on the court and 1 substitute). This championship will kick off on Dec. 30 at 4 pm onwards. There will be no entry fees and this event will be conducted on free of cost basis. The Runner and Winner team of Men and Women category will be felicitated with medal, trophy with cash award. (Rs. 5000/- for winner and Rs. 3000/- for the Runners- up team respectively).
Interested participants from Govt./Private Schools, Colleges and other Institution/ Organisation/Youth club may register their names to the Event Organiser, Shri. G. Nagesh Rao, PET/ Basketball Coach Department of Sports and Youth Affairs over Ph. No. 7063974074/ 9434270758 latest by 29.12.2025 at 5 pm. The matches fixture will be drawn on 30.12.2025 at 4 pm at Basketball Court, Netaji Stadium Complex and the inaugural match will be played at 5 pm onwards on 30.12.2025.
