Port Blair, May 15: The APWD has constructed a jetty at break water at Campbell Bay about three years back but it has not yet been opened and hence the President Pradesh Yuva Congress and member, Panchayat, Campbell Bay has requested the Lt Governor to consider inaugurating the jetty at an early date for the welfare of the people of Campbell Bay.
John has also urged the Administrator to consider disbursement of compensation to those left out farmers of the area whose lands have been submerged during Tsunami and still leading very pathetic life.
John has also submitted his request before the Lt Governor to consider promoting tourism at Campbell Bay since after Tsunami the youths are facing acute problems to find a job.
