Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 26: Andaman Law College, in association with the State Legal Services Authority (SLSA), Andaman and Nicobar Islands, organized a rally on 26th November, 2025, to mark the celebrations of the National Law Day. Teachers, staff, and students of ALC, as well as the State Legal Services Authority staff, functionaries, and paralegal volunteers, participated in good numbers.
Registrar, Calcutta High Court, Circuit Bench Port Blair Mr. Rashid Alam flagged off the rally at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Stadium in the presence of ALC Principal Dr. P.V.N. Sarma. As many as 200 students led by faculty members participated. Paralegal volunteers of the State Legal Services Authority participated in the rally. Students raised slogans saying ‘Mera Samvidhan, Mera Swabhiman’ among other slogans. Director of Physical Education Dr. Rajiv Mondal, Accounts Officer Jawahar Mondal, and faculty members Ms. Akshya, Ms. Alquma, Ms. Aughya, Dr. Bala Ramalingam, Dr. Logandham, Ms. Nisha, Ms. Varsha, Mr. Rohit, Mr. Sashi Bhushan, and Mr. Asif led the procession. The rally passed through the clock tower and the Gandhi statue to the college campus. At the college campus, the students read the preamble collectively. The principal administered the pledge of preamble. Elocution, essay writing, poster making, and slogan writing competitions were held on this occasion. Students enthusiastically participated in all the activities.
