Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 26: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) will induct 11,729 newly trained Constable/GD recruits on 15 November 2025, resulting in an 8% rise in its operational strength. The Passing Out Parade was held across six RTCs—Barwaha, Deoli, Behror, Thakkolam, Bhilai and Mundali. This major expansion follows the Ministry of Home Affairs’ approval of a 2.2 lakh personnel ceiling, enabling CISF to meet growing national security responsibilities.
The new personnel will address manpower needs at key installations, including Jewar Airport, Navi Mumbai Airport, Bhakra Dam and other critical sites. Nearly 90% of requirements in sensitive areas—J&K, LWE regions, Airports and DMRC—have been met. The batch includes 1,896 women, with many deployed to airports and metro units, while technically qualified recruits are prioritised for technology-intensive airport duties.
