Port Blair, May 09: The PCC President, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma attended the “City Conference” organized by the City Congress Committee today at Khaitan Kalyan Mandapam, Junglighat as Chief Guest.
In his inaugural speech Sharma has urged upon the gatherings to be always united and work for the betterment of the people of the islands. Sharma inspired the workers by declaring that what ever achievements he has achieved as the President is only due to the devoted and selfless works rendered by them.
He has also urged upon the workers to reach to every doors with the policies and programmes of UPA Government which are only for the betterment of the Country and its people.
“Whatever developments we are finding every where are the contribution of the UPA lead Congress Government and whatever new projects coming up in these islands are the contribution of the Lt Governor who is always accepting our demands for the betterment of the Islands and its people. The Administrator is answering to Party’s demands because of genuineness and right approach,” Sharma added.
At the outset, the President, City Congress A Selvam has welcomed the Chief Guest, dignitaries and the workers.
The Chairperson PB Murugan, ZP Adhyaksha Smti Abala Samaddar, Chairperson Social Welfare Smti Ratna Kannan, Vice President Hamid Ali,Dist President RV Reddy, President Mahila Congress Shanta Singh, Pradesh Secretary Marium Bibi, John Robert Babu, Sadhana Lall, Sanjay Rangaia, Sabastian, and Zubaida Bibi also spoke on the occasion. Conference was concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Sahaabuddin.
