Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 16: Admiral D.K. Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Lieutenant Governor, A&N Islands & Vice Chairman, Islands Development Agency participated in the Bharat Parv- the 15-day fair and cultural convergence celebrating India’s diversity held at Ekta Nagar, Kevadia in Gujarat in commemoration of 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Iron Man of India. Lt. Governor visited the Andaman and Nicobar Pavilion in the Bharat Parv and also witnessed the cultural programme held as part of the celebration.
The Bharat Parv which began on Nov. 1 culminated yesterday with a grand celebration of the 150th birth anniversary of tribal pride Bhagwan Birsa Munda. The festival was jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture, the Gujarat Tourism, and the Department of Youth and Cultural Affairs.
