Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 3: Based on credible inputs received from a reliable source, a joint team of Mobile Squad Range and Garacharma Range conducted search and seizure operation at a residence in New Bimblitan area of Sri Vijaya Puram Tehsil. During the search, 0.6733 cbm (44.65 rmt) of various sizes of Padauk sawn timber was seized from the possession of the owner.
The operation was conducted in the leadership of Shri Hosea, Forest Ranger, RO, Mobile Squad and assisted by Shri. Shyam Sunder Rao, Forester, Shri Lokesh Forester, Shri Uttam Kr. Mistry, Forester, Shri Susantu Sarkar, HFG & Smti Deviga, HFG along with RPS Mazdoors. The seized items were handed over to CO (HQ) Garacharma for safe custody and a case was registered as per relevant provisions of Indian Forest Act, 1927.
