Sri Vijaya Puram, Sep 22: Dr. Vikrant Bhuria, MLA and National Chairman of the All India Adivasi Congress, and Prof. Munish Tamang, General Secretary of the West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee, visited Campbell Bay along with Mr. Rangalal Halder, President of ANTCC, and Mr. TSG Bhasker, Chairman of the Campaign Committee (ANTCC).
The delegation was warmly received by Congress leaders of Campbell Bay, led by Mr. Gagandeep Grewal, Block President.
Following the welcome, they addressed a public meeting at the Community Hall of Gram Panchayat Campbell Bay, where they discussed key issues concerning the people of Great Nicobar Island.
During their visit, the leaders also reviewed the proposed Great Nicobar Island Development Project. They interacted with residents to gain firsthand information about the project and sought public opinion on its potential impact on the local community and environment.
