To facilitate this, KVIC is responsible for providing training to the Postal Department employees on the physical verification process.
In line with this initiative, a two-day training program, including a field visit, was organized by the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Khadi and Village Industries Board for Postal Department staff in the Conference Hall, Directorate of Industries, A&N Administration from July 29. The training focused on the physical verification of PMEGP units financed in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The program was conducted by two officials from the KVIC State Office, Kolkata, who provided specialized instruction. A total of 18 Postal Department employees participated in the training.
Following the classroom sessions, the trainees undertook a field visit to PMEGP units, where they received practical, hands-on training on the application-based physical verification procedure. Upon completion of the verification process, the margin money subsidy for the PMEGP units will be adjusted in the accounts of the respective beneficiaries.
