Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan 13: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) marked the 163rd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda (Rashtriya Yuva Diwas) with a grand celebration at JNRM, Sri Vijay Puram. The event, held near the iconic statue of Swami Vivekananda witnessed enthusiastic participation from ABVP karyakartas, students, faculty members, and well-wishers from different colleges of the city. The program commenced with a heartfelt welcome address by Dr.Santosh Kumar Jha, (Vice President, Dakshin Bengal).Setting the tone for the event, Mr. Tejinder Singh (City President), captivated the audience by highlighting the relevance of Swami Vivekananda’s thoughts in shaping the character and vision of today’s youth. He encouraged students to imbibe the values of discipline, self-confidence, and service to society as propagated by Swami Vivekananda. Mr.Rajeev Tiwari (City Vice President) delivered an inspiring speech on the extraordinary life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, emphasizing his contributions to youth empowerment and national pride.
