Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 26: The Prothrapur Premier League (PPL) organized by Smt. Radhika Dheeraj, Councillor, Ward no. 23 kicked off on Saturday following a grand inauguration ceremony at Birdline Ground, bringing a wave of excitement to the city’s sports enthusiasts.
The cricket tournament was inaugurated by Mr. TSG Bhasker, Chairman, Campaign Committee, ANTCC who was the Chief Guest for the occasion.
Mr. TSG Bhasker interacted with the players and highlighted the significance of sports in promoting physical fitness, mental well-being and overall personality development.
He also stressed on the need for timely interventions to protect our younger generation from falling prey to drugs and expressed confidence that this league will provide a platform for local talent to showcase their skills.
