Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 11: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad Sri Vijaya Puram Unit organised Study Circle “GYANAM” on 10.11.2024 at Ramakrishna Mission, Sri Vijaya Puram.
Students from various colleges in Mr. Vijaya Puram attended the study circle conducted on the topic Swami Vivekananda’s Ideas on Education in the presence of revered Chief Guest Swami Omkaratmananda Maharaj, Secretary Ramakrishna Mission, Sri Vijaya Puram.
The program was inaugurated by lighting the Lamp by Swamiji Omkaratmananda Maharaj, followed by a floral tribute to the portraits of Ma Saraswati , Guru Maharaj Sri Ramakrisha Paramhamsa ,Ma Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda .
Mr. Tejinder Singh, ABVP President delivered the welcome address. The programmes begin with a deep meditation session conducted by Swami Omkaratmananda.
The study circle, “Gyanam,” centered around Swami Vivekananda’s transformative ideas on Education emphasizing on Character building, self-confidence, and moral values as the core of true education. He spoke passionately on how education should aim to empower individuals, equipping them to contribute positively to society.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks Proposed by Satyajit Halder.
Dr Kandimuthu, ABVP, Vibhag Pramukh, Dr Santosh Kumar Jha ,ABVP ,NEC Member and Dakshin Bengal State Vice-President , Dr.Manju Nair ,Associate Professor ,JNRM ,Dr. Muruganandam Scientist, ICMR, Sri Vijaya Puram, Dr Anand Jaiswal, Dr Neeta Samadder were also participated in the Programe. The entire programme was coordinated by Mr. Kunal Bain, Joint Secretary, ABVP, Sri Vijayapuram.
