Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 06: The State Bank of India-Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Sri Vijaya Puram today commenced the 30 days Training Programme on Four Wheeler Driving. About 31 trainees have enrolled for the programme. Most of the trainees belong to the rural areas and are SHG Members of DAY -NRLM, BPL and also from Nicobari community.
In the inaugural function, Shri B. Binoy, Dy. Director (Transport) shared the immense potential available in the transport sector like aggregators, rental cars, bikes etc. He also urged the trainees to make use of the training to shape their future. He urged the trainees to grow in this field and try to become employers. Shri Ummar Farooq, Chief Manger, UTLBC informed the trainees about the initiative being taken by Govt. of India in imparting skill to the unemployed youth in order to become Atmanirbhar. He also informed that the course being free of cost, the trainees should not miss any of the sessions.
Shri. B. Binoy, Shri. C Raj and Shri Ummer Farooq jointly flagged off the first vehicle of the trainees. The function concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Shri. C Raj, Director of RSETI.
