Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct 22: The Ministry of Women and Child Development is actively engaged in Special Campaign 4.0 with focus on institutionalizing cleanliness (Swachhata) and minimizing pendency in Government Offices. The campaign which began from Oct.2 will continue till Oct.31, 2024, focusing on enhancing workplace cleanliness, promoting sustainable practices and optimizing the disposal of pending matters.
In line with this, the Women Helpline-181 under the Directorate of Social Welfare organized a Swachhata Campaign 4.0 at various places. The Swachhata Campaign began at Women Helpline-181 on Oct.2 with the administering of the Swachhata pledge to the officials and staff of Women helpline. This was followed by special activities such as cleaning of Women Helpline-181 Office premises and tree plantation drive at Women Helpline-181 premises.
The staff of Women Helpline-181 organized a Swachhata Campaign at Bird Line village near Anganwadi Centre. This endeavour by Women Helpline-181 aimed to raise awareness about cleanliness and inspire the local residents to keep public spaces spic and span. Participants in the cleanliness drive included staff of Women Helpline and Child Helpline, Ex. Councellor, Shri Sanjay Meshak and Anganwadi staff. The volunteers removed garbage and cleaned the pathways in and around the Mini Stadium at Bird Line. The event demonstrated Women Helpline-181’s commitment to cleanliness and community engagement.
