Port Blair, Mar 6: President, Andaman and Nicobar Tourist Vehicles Drivers Welfare Union has expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards Mr. B.P Ray, Member of Parliament, Andaman and Nicobar Islands for his tireless support during the dharna on Jan 31 2013.
The president of the union also informed that during the dharna for opening of ATR for tourists on Jan 31, 2013 Mr. Ray worked tirelessly with them and also sat for dharna on the road along with the drivers.
Union President praised the work of the MP and also said that he is the real representative of the Public.
The union President further informed that at last due to efforts put by everybody the A&N Administration under compulsion requested the Supreme Court to revive ATR for tourist until alternate sea route is developed. The union president and the members also expressed their gratitude to all the Party’s who stood with them in their struggle.
