Port Blair, Aug 08: The District Administration, South Andaman continues its unwavering commitment to reclaim public spaces through determined encroachment drives.
The Revenue officials of Ferrargunj Tehsil evicted encroachments over revenue land at Dhanikari village reclaiming an area of approx 0.20 Hects was restored.
Strict vigil and monitoring is being done by the Revenue Authorities and in its continuous efforts 8000 sq. mtrs of land has been restored back from encroachment by unscrupulous elements in past few days in South Andaman District.
The Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman cautioned the General Public to refrain from encroaching on Government land and that the District Administration has zero tolerance towards encroachment on government land and it shall uphold the interest of law against encroachers and serious action shall be fixed upon those supporting the encroachers.
