Port Blair, Jun 06: In an effort to raise public awareness about the fundamental rights and responsibilities of children, and to address the pressing issue of drug abuse among the youth, State Child Protection Society under the Directorate of Social Welfare is launching a new campaign aimed at educating parents, educators, and the community at large. This initiative is led by Dr. Nitin Shakya, Director (Social Worker), whose commitment to raising awareness about child rights and responsibilities is the driving force behind this effort.
Understanding Child Rights:-Every child has the right to a safe, healthy, and supportive environment. Key rights include:
