
Sri Vijaya Puram, July 23: Mrs. Aporna Roy, Up-Adhyaksha, North & Middle Andaman, along with Mr. Mithun Das, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Ramnagar, met with senior officials of the Andaman & Nicobar Administration at Sri Vijaya Puram and raised various important issues concerning the development of North & Middle Andaman.
The delegation met with the PCCF, Chief Engineer APWD, Director Panchayats, Director Agriculture, and Director of Health Services, and sought their urgent attention and necessary action on several public and development-related matters.
Key issues discussed included posting of additional doctors at PHC Kalighat and PHC Kishorinagar, development of Ramnagar Beach and Paschimsagar Beach, early completion of the 3-km Paschimsagar Road and Talabagan Beach Road, status and early implementation of CRF roads under APWD in North & Middle Andaman, availability of DAP and Urea for farmers, timely issuance of fertilizer licences to private vendors, strengthening and development of PACS, and other pressing issues related to the welfare and development of N&M Andaman.
The officials assured that the issues raised would be examined on priority and necessary action would be taken as per feasibility and applicable rules.
