Port Blair, May10: Parents of Late Mehrun Nisha, whose body was found handing inside a shed at Austinabad on 8th May 2024, under mysterious conditions, have demanded thorough investigation in this case, as they suspect that this can’t be a suicide but a murder.
Mr. Ayub Khan, father of Late Mehrun Nisha told Andaman Sheekha today expressed profound disbelief in the suicide theory. He said that even if she wanted to commit suicide she could have attempted it at home as there is not one at home during day time and also at the place of her mother’s works, there is a lonely room for her mother, where she could have attempted. “Why my daughter will go to some unknown location to commit suicide?,” he question.
Adding to their suspicion, Mr. Khan noted that two of Mehrun Nisha’s female peers from her computer center had previously died by suicide, raising alarming parallels. Demanding a comprehensive investigation, he urged authorities to scrutinize his daughter’s mobile data and review CCTV footage from the locations she frequented, hopeful that it would unravel the truth behind her untimely death.
