In a tragic turn of events, a picnic outing organized by a Madrasa took a devastating turn at Shoal Bay Beach. Twelve students, teachers, and staff members from a Madrasa of Kanyapuram went to the beach for a day of leisure this morning. However, one child among them reportedly drowned.
According to information, while some children played along the shore, two students got trapped in the water-current. Despite frantic rescue attempts, one child managed to survive, while the other Master K Mohammed Fayaz tragically drowned.
As per reports, efforts to revive the drowned student proved futile, and he was rushed to PHC Wimberlygunj, where medical professionals pronounced him brought-dead. The body was subsequently transferred to the mortuary.
