Port Blair, Apr 29: The Andaman Nicobar Tour Operator Association (ANTOA) held its 5th General Body Meeting on April 27, 2024, at Hotel Aparupa Goal Ghar Link Road. The meeting saw the election of new committee members through a voting process conducted via ballot paper.
After a competitive contest, Simson emerged victorious as the President of ANTOA. His vision and dedication to the tourism sector impressed the members, earning him the leadership role. Abdul Gafoor secured the position of General Secretary, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a commitment to promoting tourism in the region. Ms. Jaya was elected as Treasurer, entrusted with managing the association’s finances efficiently.
The meeting also included discussions on the agenda for ANTOA in the upcoming year, addressing key issues and initiatives to support the tourism industry in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Candidates highlighted their manifestos, outlining their plans and priorities for the association. This allowed members to make informed decisions during the voting process.
