Mayabunder, Mar 21: Today, the MGG College Conference Hall was abuzz with enthusiasm as the “Wall of Democracy Signature Campaign for greater Electoral Participation” took place. Dr. P.K. Mandal, faculty of the History Department, extended a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, Mr. Dilkhush Meena, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, District Chief Election Officer of N & M Andaman District. Dr. Mandal emphasized the pivotal role of youths in nation-building through active electoral engagement in national elections.
In his address, Deputy Commissioner Mr. Dilkhush Meena lauded the college’s youth for their fervor and encouraged first-time voters to participate actively in the upcoming elections, underscoring the importance of their contribution to India’s democratic process and nation-building endeavors.
Highlighting the accessibility of election authorities, Mr. Meena assured new voters of support and urged them to reach out with any concerns. He called upon students and staff present to motivate their peers, family, and community members to participate actively in the electoral process, emphasizing the significance of collective involvement in shaping the nation’s future.
