Port Blair, Feb 09: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, the President Pradesh Congress, who has attended the programme organized by the Chetana, a socio cultural organization at Sevaniketan on 7th February, 2013 as Chief Guest, has recorded his all praise for the organization on their activities towards spreading awareness on various socio issues amongst the people of these islands. He has also praised the programme displayed by the little children of Seva Nikatan through wooden dolls (Kathputali) on the issue of importance of girl education which was taught to them by Chetana. He has also stated that these islands have full of talents, and in case these talents are given proper platform, they can prove themselves not only at national level but also at international level.
Sharma wanted that the programme displayed by the children of Seva Niketan should be taken to other parts of the islands also, especially to the rural areas so that the importance of girl education is spread all over. Sharma has also praised the plans and programmes of Seva Niketan and its team members. Dr RN Rath, the Chairman of Chetana has given a brief on the activities of the organization. He has also praised the programme Director Ms Rita Banerjee and its writer Ms Renu Bala.
