Port Blair, Jan 18: An awareness programme was conducted in the school hall at GSSS Kapanga by the Police Personal Katchal under the leadership of Sub Inspector Mr. Subramani, Station Officer and its team on 09th October, 2023 on the topic Cyber Crime, Safety and Security.
The SHO briefed on Cyber Crime, its types, motives and causes of precautionary measures to stay safe online. He advised the students and teachers to be alert and avoid platform related to Cyber Crimes.
Awareness was given about cyber stalking and cyber terrorism to be safe and never be a victim of it.
The programme was coordinated by Mr. Suresh J Panicker who also urged the students to be updated against such cyber crimes and the programme concluded with vote of thanks by the teacher incharge of the School Mrs. Joselyn Samuel (PGT) stressing that negligence leads to loss and to be always alert and ignore such crimes.
