Port Blair, Dec 10: Today on 10.12.2023 at 1230 hrs, a legal awareness programme was organized at Nilambur, Panchayat Hall, Baratang by District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) with the assistance of Police Station Baratang for the general public of Baratang area. Mr. Subhajit Basu, Additional District & Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, Sub-Divisional Legal Services Committee, Mayabunder has attended the programme as chief guest and Mr. Tarun Kumar Mondal, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mayabunder, Mr. Alager Swamy, Zilla Parishad Member, Baratang, Mrs. Sumari Roy, Pradhan, Nilambur Panchayat, Mrs. Sarla Krishnan, Pradhan, Sundergarh Panchayat, SI Surjit Bhattacharjee, SHO PS Baratang & 60-70 local villagers have attended the programme.
