Port Blair, Nov 17: On the Directions of Director General of Police, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Sh. Devesh Chandra Srivastva, IPS, the Fast Interceptor Boat (FIB) M.V. Trak, with Police Marine Force and IRBn Commandoes, assumed the role of dedicated Quick Response Team (QRT),at the Phoenix Bay jetty on 17.11.23.
The mobile Response Team is poised to uphold the highest standards of security through swift response capabilities.
M.V. Trak will be engaged in 24×7 patrolling within the harbour area, solidifying its position as an indispensable component of comprehensive Port Security framework.
The presence of M.V. Trak in territorial waters, signifies the untiring commitment of Andaman Nicobar Police Force, in safeguarding critical infrastructure and anticipating potential maritime threats.
The mobile QRT will conduct regular patrolling and surveillance, ensuring a heightened state of vigilance in the port and its adjacent waters.
