Port Blair, Nov 01: On 29th October 2023, Andaman Helping Hands, A&N Islands (AHHANI) conducted the Swachtha Abhiyan in collaboration with Allu Arjun Army Andaman (AAAA), Port Blair Municipal Council (PBMC), Trisanth SeaFood Port Blair and Hemanth Creations Port Blair at FLC Jetty Junglighat, Port Blair on the occasion of 09th year Celebration of Foundation Day of Andaman Helping Hands, A&N Islands (AHHANI) (21st to 29th October, 2023) and also in remembrance of our beloved Social Worker Swargprapthi S. Hema Raju.
During this drive, 31 volunteers participated and a total of 12 bags of garbage were collected from FLC Jetty Junglighat Surroundings which consisted of all types of mixed garbage like plastics materials, Alcoholic bottles (04 Nos. bags containing about 312 bottles), Tetra packs, Water bottles, wastage shoes, Plastic tea cups, plastic bags followed by waste Fish baskets and waste ropes etc.
Volunteers raised slogans with great enthusiasm and patriotism as Clean India-Green India and Bharat Mata ki Jai at the end of the event.
