Port Blair, Oct 25: Shaurya Jagran Yatra to pay tribute and remember the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and brave soldiers who laid down their life to safeguard the motherland Bharat organized by Vishva Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal Andaman Dweep Samuh on 14.10.2023
On the occasion of Pitrapaksha and as a part of nationwide Shaurya Jagran Yatra the karyakartas of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal Andaman organised a vehicle rally paying tribute to the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and brave soldiers who laid down their lives to safeguard our motherland. The Shaurya Jagran Yatra started by paying rich shradhanjali to all the freedom fighters and brave soldiers at the Park in front of the Cellular Jail followed by dweep prajalan and pushpa arapan to all the freedom fighters. Swamy Chinmaya Mission Mr. Sundaanan Saraswati Swamy delivered the ashirvachan to all the participants signifying the supreme sacrifice and cultural significance.
The Rath was flagged off followed by vehicle rally covering areas of Clock Tower, Bengali Club, LightHouse, Phoenix Bay, Delanipur, Haddo Jn, Golghar, Junglighat, Dairy Farm, School Line, Dollygunj, Bhatubasti, Garacharma, Sippighat and culminated at Chouldhari. The enthusiasm of the youths and all the participants sky rocketed and created an ambience of devotion and pride.
Mr. Brijesh Pandey, President, VHP – Andaman & Nicobar addressed the gathering at Chouldhari and signified the importance of Dharma and Shaurya Jagran Yatra and Mr. Rajesh Ram, Secretary, VHP – given vote of thanks to all the participants .
The Shourya Jagran Yatra was accomplished after reciting Mr. Hanuman Chalisa by all the youths and participants.
