Port Blair, Oct 17: The District Planning Committee meeting of South Andaman District resumed for second day under the Chairmanship of Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman on the on 17th October, 2023 at 9.30 AM in the Conference Hall of Zilla Parishad, South Andaman to deliberate upon 03 years Draft Action Plan (2023-24 to 2025-26) in respect of South Andaman District including Campbell Bay revenue areas.
During the said meeting Head of Departments and representatives of various plan implementing departments viz. Social Welfare, Environment & Forest, Science & Technology, Disaster Management, Labour, Employment & Training, Fisheries, Civil Supply, Electricity, RCS, Arts & culture, Information, Publicity & Tourism and Govt. Press were discussed in detail and various recommendations/suggestions were submitted by the Chairman and Members of DPC to incorporate in the final Plan.
