Port Blair, Sept 13: Today on 13-09-2023 under the supervision of SP (D) Nicobar and SDPO Vijay Singh a police team constituted by Inspr. Shabana Haneef Incharge PS Car Nicobar along with ASI. Jayaraman,Hc/1906 FX Tigga, Pc/828 RK Maurya, Pc/2724 Nisharudin, Pc/2510 H Rasheed,Pc/730 HiramaniMinj, Pc/1630 J.Solomie, Pc 2503 Johena and Pc (D) 3062 Pankaj Rao conducted special Drive of Illicit Liquor Jungle Search/Raid started at Small Lapathy and Arong village CarNicobar. Total 350 Ltrs Illicit Lahen has been destroyed on the Spot at Small Lapathy and Arongvillage in Jungle Areas. No suspected person was found on the spot.Further intelligence is being developed to catch the culprits.The general public and villagers are urged to come forward and report any credible information related to illegal activities to the nearest Out post/Police station no.03193265242 the identity of informers will be kept confidential.
