Port Blair, July 29: The team of Police Station Pahargaon has once again proved its mettle in the ongoing war against Drugs and booked a person under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act 1985 resulting in recovery of 24 grams of methamphetamine.
On 21/07/2023, a credible information was received from an informer that one person namely Nisar is having Methamphetamine in his possession kept in a car driven by him which is kept at a Garage at Birdline with the intention to sell Methamphetamine to consumers. Immediately, a team was constituted comprising SI Manish Narayan, PC/930 Jagdish Babu, PC/175 S S Yadav and LPC/1279 Sini Raju under the supervision of K M Priyanka, IPS(P), SHO PS Pahargaon. The team successfully conducted the raid in Birdline at the said Garage and arrested the person C.P. Abdul Nisar S/o Mr. C.P. Rasheed, 23 yrs R/o Panipath, Haddo and recovered 24 gms of methamphetamine from his possession following due procedure.
The entire raid took place under the supervision of Mr. Sunny Gupta, IPS, SDPO South Andaman.
