Port Blair, June 26: The National Executive Meeting of Rashtriya Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh (RRKMS) was held at Gandhi Nagar, Ahmedabad from 24th June to 25th June 2023 under the chairmanship of Mr. Vipan Dongra, National President, RRKMS. The meeting was inaugurated by ex-Home Minister (Govt. of Gujarat) Mr. Gordhan Zadapiya and Mr. Hitesh Bhai Makawana, Mayor of Gandhinagar Corporation, Mr. Dipakbhai Joshi, Legal Cell Sanyojak, BJP were present as dignitaries. In his address Mr. Gordhan Zadapiya appealed to all office bearers to work continuously for the welfare of the working class as it’s a continuing process. Mr. Dipakbhai Joshi highlighted the legal aspect to get justice may be taken as a last resort but several employee favour judgments of Hon’ble High Court and Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
The Second session started with the presentation of the Last Executive Meeting’s proceedings by Office Secretary Mr. Sanjay Sharma which was approved with the jai ghosh of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai ”. Mr. Amodh Shrivastava, National Finance Secretary, submitted the finance report. Mr. Vishnu Prasad Verma, National General Secretary, RRKMS, briefed the reports of last meeting’s resolution as well as resolution adopted on National Adhiveshan held at Patna. In the afternoon session all States General Secretaries submitted their report about the activities carried out in their respective states. In this context, the General Secretary of Andaman Nicobar Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh Mr. S. Biju Pillai presented the report and the following demands were raised for early redressal in the welfare of the working class. Regularise all DRM working under A & N Administration and its esteemed offices, Regularise all contractual employees and put an end in contractual mode, Declare entire Andaman Nicobar Islands as Hard Area for sanctioning Hard Area Allowances along with Special Compensatory Allowances, to boost up the employees working for centre sponsored schemes such as NRHM, MGNREGA etc. demanded for service security upto the age of 60 years and salary at par with State Mechanism. The issues presented by Andaman Nicobar Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh were applauded by all present members and proposed that the same may be adopted for all the States. The National President Mr. Vipan Dongra assured to take up the matter with the Central Government on the issues and assured the forum that a meeting with Central Ministries will be carried out. Mr. Jaydeep Kumar Dey, President, ANRKM, expressed gratitude towards the National President for taking keen interest in the issues of the working class of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The next National Executive meeting of RRKMS is proposed to be held at Andaman and Nicobar Islands which may be declared soon in consideration with the National Leaders of Bharatiya Majdoor Sangh, New Delhi.
