Port Blair, Feb. 16: The Directorate of Tribal Welfare, A&N Administration deputed two young Nicobari artisansto participate in the mega National Tribal Festival –‘Aadi Mahotsav’ which was inaugurated by Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modiat Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi today. A dedicated stall for Andaman and Nicobar Islands has been allotted to showcase the traditional Nicobari tribal arts which will endeavour to boost and promote the local tribal products. It will motivate other tribal youth to come forward to showcase their skill. The festival will continue up toFeb. 27.
