Port Blair, Feb 15: To create awareness about the importance of proper nutrition and complementary feeding for infants and children, SuposhanDiwas was organized at Haddo Sunder Colony Awc under Poshsan Abhiyan. The event featured a range of activities including a nutrition demonstration, Annaprashan, and an awareness program on the significance of PoshanVatika, Health & Hygiene, and Complementary Feeding.
CDPO (ICDS Urban Project) Mrs. Zarina Bibi inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. MukhyaSevikas, AWWs, and beneficiaries from the area also attended the program.
Poshsan Abhiyan is an initiative launched by the government of India with the aim of improving the nutritional status of children and pregnant women.
