Port Blair, Feb15: Unnati will start 10 Classical Silai Schools with the support of Usha International Ltd., in South Andaman. Training for 10 Silai School teachers selected involving PRIs for conducting classes in different villages organized by Unnati today i.e. 15-02-2023 in Monica Silai School Wimberlygunj. On this occasion Mrs. Pramila Kumari Adhyaksha Zilla Parishad was Chief Guest and Mr. Alok Shukla Senior Manager of Usha International Ltd., Guest of honor. Mrs. Pramila Kumari Chief Guest mentioned that Unnati is rendering excellent work for empowering women through various capacity building programmes with the support of Usha International Ltd. and NABARD etc. She urged all should take advantage of this opportunity for enhancing their skill up-gradation and capacity building to adopt self employment for increasing their family income. Mr. Alok Shukla Senior Manager expressed his happiness that the way Unnati is implementing Usha International Ltd., Silai School programme in A&N Islands is commendable. He further mentioned that Usha International Ltd., is going to introduce few more programmes for development, empowerment and benefit of poor families through Unnati to enhance economic empowerment of Rural Community involving SIDBI and other organizations.
