Port Blair, Feb 07: As part of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind’s 75 years of determined struggle, aharmony meet was organized for fellow brothers from different religions,civil society, business and media by JIH Andaman Zone on 05th February2023 at 6:15PM at MIM Auditorium WimberlyGunj.
Moulana Waliullah SayeediFalahi, Secretary, Tarbiyah, JIH presided thefunction and MoulanaShafiMadani, Secretary, Special Attention Zones, JIHwas the chief guest.
Jb. MK Mohammed, President, JIH Andaman welcomed the gathering and said that Andaman and Nicobar Islands are an example to the world for itsbrotherhood among different religions and communities.
MoulanaShafimadani in his address highlighted the importance of formingGoodwill Forums in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. He gave an example of hisstate Gujarat where people from different religions come together andconduct meets under the Goodwill Forums. He also emphasized on the need tofollow the principle of VasudhaivaKutumbakam, that all living beings onthe earth is a family.Moulana Waliullah SayeediFalahi in his address said that every personshould know about every religion. Citing the example of the former editorof a magazine, he said that the editor used to give wrong impression abouta religion, but when he was introduced to the reality, he realized hismistake. He also said that every religion preaches to follow the path oftruth. It has been said in Islam that if the neighbor is hungry, first feedhim. Christianity talks about mutual love whereas Hindu religion gives themessage of peace.
