Port Blair, Dec 20: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President of Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) has urged the Principal Secretary (Power) to purchase power cables and meters, immediately.
In a letter addressed to the Principal Secretary (Power), the PCC president said that the Andaman and Nicobar Electricity Department has placed electric poles at various places but is unable to give connections due to want of cables and electric meters.
“This delayed the work of the department and made the common people irked and restless,” Mr. Sharma said.
