Port Blair, Dec 20: Mr. John Robert Babu, President, State Yuva Congress, ANI inaugurated the Sports events of Victory Youth Club, Lall Barack, Dairy farm on 19th December, 2012.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. S Rama Rao, the General Secretary informed that this sports event will continue upto 14th January, 2012, during which various indoor and outdoor games like Badminton, Cricket, Carrom, Kabaddi etc will be conducted.
The club has also arranged various competitions like Rangoli, musical chair etc for women folks and fancy dress competition, quiz competition for children.
Mr. K Mohan Rao, the President of the club informed that for last 10 years, the club is involved in arranging such sports events to promote various sports in the rural areas.
In this occasion Mr. G Laxman, Cultural Secretary told that there will also be cultural programmes during the event.
Mr. Sabestian Tirkey, State General Secretary, Pradesh Youth Congress was also present on the occasion.
