Port Blair, Feb 02: The Hutui villagers of Nancowrie and the Tribal Council Nancowrie have expressed their gratitude to the Andaman and Nicobar (A&N) Administration and the Lieutenant Governor after one of their long-pending demands was completed in a short period. The passenger sheds, constructed by the Andaman Lakshadweep Harbour Works in the Hutui village in Nancowry group of islands, were in shambles but have now been repaired by the Port Management Board. The first captain of Kamorta, Nancowrie Group of Islands, Mr. Aslam Majid, expressed his sincere gratitude towards the Lieutenant Governor and the officers of the Port Management Board for completing the repair work within 10 days.
