Diglipur, January 29: A Mega Health Check-up Camp was organised by Indian Oil Corporation Limited under ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) at Diglipur on January 27, 2023.
As per report, taking an initiative the IOCL, Port Blair Terminal organized a one-day mega health check-up camp for the general public of Diglipur on January 27, 2023. The camp was held in Azad Hind Club near ANIIDCO OutLet, R.K. Gram, Diglipur.
The health camp was inaugurated by Mr. Santosh Kumar Amar, Sr. Terminal Manager Cum
State Level Coordinator A & N Islands with the active support of Mr. HM
Siddaraju, CMO, CHC Diglipur, Mr. Biswajit Bairagi, Samiti Up-PramukhDiglipur and
Mr. A Anil Kumar, Indian Oil ANIIDCO RO In-charge Diglipur.
To make the camp beneficial for male and female patients, specialists and eminent
doctors were present in the camp to provide the best consultations. Apart from general check-ups like BP, Sugar etc., medical examination of eye, dental checkup and testing for HIV & AIDS were also done during the camp.
Free medicines were distributed to the needy while a huge number of local female patients took the opportunity and got them diagnosed by the medics.
The CMO, CHC Diglipur, appreciated the efforts made by Indian Oil Corporation Limited for the noble initiative for the benefit of the general public. He further motivated the team and encouraged them to continue such activities in future as well, the report further added.
