Port Blair, Dec. 01: A police Jawan posted at Narcondam Island’s Look Out Post was evacuated from the LOP by the Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC) on 30 Nov 2022.
According to information, the Jawan had suffered a leg injury. Yesterday ICGS Aruna Asaf Ali C-145 successfully evacuated the wounded Jawan to Diglipur from the Island.
The medical team onboard administered the Jawan with basic first aid. On arrival at CHC Diglipur, the medics attended him immediately for further necessary medical treatment.
