Port Blair, Nov 17: Mr. Vishal Jolly,National Executive Member,BJP along with Mr.M.Vinod, State Vice President, BJP A&N Islands Met Lieutenant General
Ajai Singh ,AVSM ,Commander-in-Chief, Andaman and Nicobar Command at his office today and discussed various issues pertaining to Airports.
Mr. Vishal jolly discussed various issues during the meeting with CINCAN viz to expedite the ongoing Re Surfacing work at Port Blair Airport for the benefit of the Islanders and tourism stakeholders.
To expedite the process of increasing the length of the Airstrip of Diglipur (Cohasa) Airport, which is very much necessary to strengthen our security and for developing Diglipur as a tourist destination.
Extension of Campbell Bay Airstrip was also discussed during the meeting.
The Commander-in-Chief , A&N Command reportedly assured Mr. Jolly that they are on the job and will try to expedite the completion of Resurfacing of Port Blair Runway and they will try to expedite the job of increasing the Diglipur and Campbell Bay Airstrip.
Mr. Vishal Jolly has expressed his gratitude towards CINCAN for meeting him amidst his busy schedule.
