Diglipur, Sept. 23: In a political development,a no-confidence motion was brought against the present Pradhan of the Gram Panchayat Pahalgaon under Mayabunder Tehsil yesterday.
According to reliable sources, seven Ward Members of the Gram Panchayat Pahalgaon signed Form-4 Notice/Letter of no-confidence motion against their Pradhan and submitted it to the Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Pahalgaon yesterday. There are 11 members altogether in which four are from INC, 3 are Independent and four are from the BJP. Though the tension mounted high and there has been an upheaval in the local politics till yesterday, things seemed to look hunky-dory as claimed by some local BJP leaders who sounded confident when asked about the situation.
