Kadamtala, Sep 07: The staff of Wildlife Division of Forest Department Kadamtala captured a three-meter-long crocodile today from Aterzig Kona Nallah of Middle Andaman. Earlier, a crocodile was sighted by the villagers in the Nallah of Aterzig Village.
Last Three weeks the crocodile had allegedly attacked a domestic animal and two goats. Later after the complaint, a team of the Forest Department installed a cage and nets in the nallah to catch the crocodile for safe relocation. As per the report today morning, Forest Workers deployed in the area, spotted a three-meter-long crocodile trapped in the cage. Soon the information was passed to the Forest Department. The crocodile was later shifted to the Heratan Islands.
