Port Blair, Sep 04: Mr. Paritosh Kumar Haldar, the President of A&N Democratic Congress has requested the Prime Minister of India to intervene in the matter ofstudent protest ofDr. B R Ambedkar Institute of Technology against the non-Affiliation of the college with Pondicherry University.
In his letter, Mr. Paritosh Kumar Haldar mentioned that for the last three years DBRAIT has been running without affiliation with Pondicherry University.
He mentioned that for the last one month the B.tech students of DBRAIT, Port Blair are protesting against the college administration demanding to comply with seventeen conditions specified by Pondicherry University.
Therefore, Mr. Paritosh Kumar Haldar requested the Prime Minister of India to intervene in the matter and resolve the issues of protesting students.
