Port Blair, Aug 23: An economically underprivileged resident of a remote village of Diglipurregion recently travelled to Port Blair with a hope for getting his two daughters admitted in schools at Port Blair, for the better future.
As per reports, Mr. LiandarMinj, resident of Pan Nallah village ofDiglipur said that his village is one of the most isolated villages in Diglipur without any roadways connecting it to outer areas.
He further stated that there are no schools in the village and the children have to visit the nearby village for the education facility.
Mr. Minj stated that the primary concern is that the travelling route to the other village is extremely dangerous and is full of wild elephants which makes the route unsafe to travel.
Therefore, Mr. Minj along with his two daughters visited Port Blair with the hope of getting a better education facility at Port Blair.
In this regard, he met Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman and narrated all his problems.
As per details, acting immediately Mr. Anchipaka ordered the concerned officials to help Mr. Minj and make sure the school admission of his daughters is done at Port Blair.
Talking to a section of media Mr. LiandarMinj expressed his gratitude to Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman for his prompt and positive response to make sure the academic future of his daughters is now safe at Port Blair.
